I go to the University College London (UCL), which is located in Bloomsbury, central London. It was founded in 1826 as a more liberal, secular alternative to the religious Oxford and Cambridge, and it became the first academic institution to admit women and ethnic minorities. In 2007, UCL broke into the top ten universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings. As of 2010 it is ranked 4th best university in the world. Famous alumni include Mahatma Gandhi, Alexander Graham Bell, Ricky Gervais and all four members of Coldplay. No idea how I managed to end up here, but I am absolutely loving every second.

    Re: Tuition fees
Gosh, I didn’t know it was a glitch. How frustrating! Oh well, I’ll worry about my debt later.

HAHAHA, oh my god! The one that licks his fingers in front of Hermoine at Slughorn’s party?! *dies* Maybe I’ll just happen to randomly stumble through your faculty sometime. God, will be doing an unhealthy amount of celeb stalking in London…

And yes, I just had to dedicate a site to UCL so I could do a bit of bragging, hihihi. ^_^ But hey, my mom told me one should take pride in one’s school! And I’d pay LOTS of money to go to UCL.

  3. I love UCL too and I hope you keep enjoying it ! We deserve to be ranked number 4.

Woah, cool – a fellow UCL’er! 😀 And yeah, I am enjoying every second of my life in UCL and London! I think I might never leave this place once I’m done, hehe.
