The reason for this was the exhibition “Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion”, which according to their website is “the first exhibition in Europe to comprehensively survey avant-garde Japanese fashion, from the early 1980s to the present”. It is on until February 6th, and pretty interesting! Crazy fashions that most people would probably never wear – but I find it fascinating to see how far one can stretch creativity just for the sake of it.
Talking about fashion, look what I got for £5:
(Notice that I have finally commenced on Betty Friedan’s “The Feminine Mystique”).
And now I am off clubbing in Leicester Square!
